My paintings are deeply influenced by my background in art, design, architecture, and dance, as well as the expressive power of the Abstract Expressionists. Rooted in my fascination with organic forms in nature and the fluidity of movement, my work explores the dynamic interplay of color, texture, and motion.

I experiment with the unique properties of various mediums—including acrylic, watercolor, gouache, oil, cold wax, and mixed media—allowing each painting to evolve through a balance of control and spontaneity. By embracing the movement of paint, I enhance both the visual and tactile experience, creating immersive compositions that transcend traditional boundaries between abstraction and landscape.

Through my work, I aim to:

  • Capture the Essence of Motion – My paintings embody rhythm and energy, allowing viewers to experience movement as a visceral sensation.

  • Express Emotion Through Color and Flow – I use a vibrant interplay of hues and textures to evoke emotion, creating luminous, sensory experiences.

  • Honor the Balance Between Control and Spontaneity – Much like dance, my process thrives on both discipline and improvisation, letting paint move naturally while guiding it with intent.

  • Push the Boundaries of the Medium – I explore techniques that expand the expressive potential of paint, respecting its inherent properties while inviting unpredictability.

  • Create an Immersive Experience – My goal is to transport the viewer into a world of movement, rhythm, and vibrancy, making them feel as if they are part of the dance itself.

At the heart of my practice is a dedication to transforming motion into visual poetry—where color, texture, and form converge in a dance of their own, inviting the viewer to engage with the art on a sensory level.
